- Single Slope

- Gable

- Mansard
A mansard roof is quite similar to the gambrel design, except that a gambrel has a vertical gable, but a mansard has a hipped roof at the corners of the structure. Mansard roofs are highly popular in the United Kingdom. Mansard roofs are distinguished by having a pitch that is separated into two parts: a shallow angle above a sharper angle.
